Hospitality Magic — close up and personal! Dan Garrett is an expert at sleight-of-hand magic and psychic demonstrations either strolling or seated at a table. This flexible format of up-close miracles is well suited for a hospitality suite, cocktail party, golf outing, reception or any event where people get together to mix, talk and laugh. Sometimes you will see Dan perform such things as:

• Reading a person’s mind and telling everyone exactly what he or she is thinking!
• Transforming your business card into an inter-dimensional portal, then sending you on a trip through it!
• Borrowing a dollar bill and turning it inside out. (No, really... inside out!)
• Changing a stack of magazine clippings into real twenty dollar bills!
• Having a signed playing card do impossible things, and end up in impossible places!
• Make cards transform and objects appear and disappear right in a spectator’s hand!
• Make the magic experience the most talked-about part of your event, creating an excited buzz that will continue on for weeks to come!

Cabaret Magic — Dan Garrett performs his cabaret-style act for nightclubs, banquets, luncheons, and any special event. Some of these performances include:

• Seeing through someone else’s eyes: A volunteer picks a book among many and reads a passage or word at random. Dan Garrett correctly identifies the word or phrase!
• A volunteer performs magic with a jumbo deck of cards: the participant takes a shuffled jumbo pack of cards and allows 3 friends to choose a card. The 3 cards are returned and shuffled into the pack (without any help from Dan), and one by one, each card magically rises out of the pack at the bidding of the volunteer, while the pack is being held in the volunteer’s hands!
• A “signature” mind-blower: Dan Garrett draws an object, freely chosen by a volunteer, onto a large sketch pad. He causes the drawing to animate mysteriously on the pad, then Dan immediately signs and presents the drawing to the participant! This is a magical effect that David Copperfield asked Dan to teach him!
• A spectator chooses a card from the deck and tears it into little pieces. The card is completely restored except for the corner piece which was kept by the volunteer. After verifying that the corner piece fits perfectly, the spectator again tears the card into little pieces. Once again, the pieces are sealed in an envelope and are restored in the spectator’s own hands as before. This time, however, the restored card is removed from the envelope laminated in plastic! The laminated playing card and missing corner piece (which still matches!) are given to the spectator to keep. This is Dan’s new original miracle for 2002.
• Many more mind-numbing magic effects and laughs galore highlight this show, which can be structured to any length of time to fit your event. (From 10 minutes to 50 minutes.)
